Peninsula Early Learning is a 100% community-led, non-profit early childhood centre. This means that your child is a valued part of our whānau and community of learning.

We’re conveniently located in Strathmore - handy to all of the Eastern suburbs of Wellington. We’ve been here for over 14 years - you might remember us as Peninsula Community Preschool, we’re the same team, just with a newer name to better reflect our philosophy.  We offer high quality early childhood education to 3-5 year olds for a full-week’s programme. We have a small group size of 25 children. Depending on vacancies, children may sometimes be able to start earlier than their 3rd birthday. Please contact us to discuss this option.

Our building is a modern, purpose built early childhood education facility. Our open-plan interior is bright, light and spacious with separate quiet rooms. Our impressive outdoor learning space includes a big sandpit, taupuni mahi toi/art studio, a carpentry workshop, a working vegetable garden, climbing spaces and lots of nooks in which our children immerse themselves in the natural environment. We are a well-resourced centre with an array of equipment available for the children to use.
